Very busy place, expect waiting-time. Good value for money, nice and relaxed interior. The soki soba was good, though we had better meat on Ishigaki.

Speaking of Okinawa soba is here. Taketomi Island does not have many restaurants, so you can enjoy not only lunch but also nights. There was also a sister shop, “Yadoyake Takeko,” nearby, and I stayed here too, but it was very slow. There are many tourists in the daytime, and you can't eat without them.

You have to come earlier or there's going lots of people waiting for a table.

Despite the other reviews, I think it was a good take on Okinawa noodles.

Yaeyama soba is usually delicious on Ishigaki Island.Probably, the taste near the airport is better and the price is lower.

Soba restaurant in Taketomi Island Takeko. It is a very famous store that is listed in the guidebook. A lot of signs of celebrity were displayed in the shop, too.It was lined up for a while just at lunch time that I had crawled. There was a space to sit inside the store.I had three buckwheat noodles (850 yen).I did not have the image that Soki soba and Yaeyama soba were so delicious in me, but the one in this shop was very delicious.The taste of the soup is delicious with delicious sweet potato. The three pieces of meat were softly simmered and delicious, and the volume was also very satisfying.There were soki soba, Yaeyama soba, curry rice and ju-shi (cooked rice in Okinawa) as well as triple-meat soba.The menu is on Takenoko's official website, so it's easy to understand if you look there.

A famous store with many signs in the store. I visited the store around 12:30 and lined up for about 30 minutes. Slightly soft noodles go very well with the delicious soup. The meat is very delicious and juicy. There are liquids in which the peppers are pickled as seasonings and powder like pepper (both are unusual tastes that cannot be expressed well in words).

Take a sightseeing tour of the buffalo cart on Taketomi Island. The guide of the buffalo car was also said to be the best on Taketomi Island. We arrived exactly at 12 o'clock on weekdays, but there were already several people waiting outside. As for the soba, three large sokis are sprouts and green onions. It's not too dark or too thin, just enough to drink without leaving any soup. I was very satisfied with the excellent response to eating.

I have great lunch of local food in this cozy restaurant.
